Portes du Soleil :

Europe’s largest mountain bike playground waiting to be explored

What if the World Cup made you want to get on your bike?

The presence of the Portes du Soleil in the Fan Zone Village is an opportunity to extend the sporting experience beyond the competition.

Les Gets is one of the gateways to Europe’s largest cross-border mountain biking area: 12 resorts, 5 bike parks and over 600 km of mountain bike trails spread across France and Switzerland.

From cross-country to downhill, via enduro and e-MTB, the area offers a huge variety of disciplines and terrain.

A stand to help you plan your next ride

During the World Cup, visitors will be able to discover everything the Portes du Soleil has to offer cyclists: routes, bike parks, scenery, experiences and opportunities to extend their stay on two wheels.

From beginners to experienced riders, there’s something for everyone!

"Les écogardes "

Haut-Chablais Interco

Cycling, yes – but the mountains too!

A Mountain Bike World Cup is also a wonderful opportunity to remind people that this sport takes place in an exceptional environment that we must learn to appreciate and protect.

Haut-Chablais Interco’s eco-guards will be on hand to chat to visitors about the right behaviour to adopt in the mountains.

Their aim is to inform, raise awareness and teach the right habits so that people can enjoy natural spaces whilst respecting the environments they pass through.

Haut-Chablais Interco states that its eco-guards run stands throughout the summer to explain best practice in mountain environments and to engage with the public at local events.

An educational and accessible approach

This isn’t about lecturing: the idea is to encourage discussion and enable everyone to better understand the issues facing the mountains.
