2027 World Championships - Cross-Country / Les Gets

From August 24 to September 5, 2027, Haute-Savoie will host the second edition of the UCI World Cycling Championships, the largest event in the history of cycling and para-cycling.

Les Gets is preparing to host the Mountain Bike Cross-Country and Mountain Bike Downhill events at the 2027 UCI World Cycling Championships in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc.

Located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, the resort has established itself as a global leader in mountain biking. With over 30 years of experience organizing UCI Mountain Bike World Cups and having already hosted two UCI World Championships (2002, 2004, and 2026), in 2027 it will offer a spectacular playground for the world’s top mountain bikers.

Over the course of 13 days, 20 UCI World Championships will be held at 15 competition venues, set against a spectacular and symbol-rich backdrop of lakes, valleys, and mountains: Annecy, Châtel – Portes du Soleil, Cluses, Doussard, La Clusaz, La Roche-sur-Foron, Les Gets, Morillon – Grand Massif, Rumilly, Sallanches–Domancy - Pays du Mont-Blanc, Samoëns – Grand Massif, Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, Thônes, Ville d’Évian, and the National Velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (78).
Nearly 15,000 athletes—both elite and amateur—from the 206 national federations affiliated with the UCI will take part in this extraordinary event, which is set to make cycling history. Its program will bring together both traditional and emerging disciplines in an unprecedented celebration of the full richness of cycling.
Conceived as an open, popular, festive, and unifying event, the 2027 UCI World Cycling Championships in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc place gender equality, inclusion, and accessibility at the heart of their organization. Developed with and for Haute-Savoie, they also aim to leave a lasting legacy that promotes the growth of cycling, the cycling industry, and the region’s reputation.
